MODEL-USS INTREPID CV-11 AIRCR USS Intrepid (CV-11, CVA-11, CVS-11)
A 30" model of the famous Figthing 'I' Launched in 1943. The Intrepid served the United States Navy for 31 years she proved both strong and resolute. The Intrepid survived multiple kamikaze attacks, acted as Recovery Ship for Mercury VII and Gemini III space capsules, served with the Pacific Fleet off Vietnam in three combat cruises and, in 1982, opened as the Intrepid Sea - Air - Space Museum in New York City.
